MAPS4U.lt - Maps in History and History in Maps

Sheets of the International Map in scale 1:1000000 have size of frames 4 deg. latitude and 6 deg. longitude. These maps started to produce even before the First World War. Individual sheets produced different countries (to deal with the Paris Conference). Germany except sheets N-32, N-33, N-34, M-32, M-33, M-34, L-32 and L-33 in preparation for the Second World War and during the war republish sheets of the International Map in scale 1:1000000, which released other countries.
