Index sheet of maps in scale 1:100000
Department of Military topography (belongs to MoD) in years 1933-1940 has published 44 maps in scale 1:100000. These maps covered about 2/3 of territory of Lithuania. 4 maps have been founded in library of Science academy. These 4 maps were not published just prepared.
Maps in scale 1:100000 are measured by trapezium frame. Dimensions of frame are 30 min long. and 15 min lat. and maps has dimension 32x27,8 cm. (on 55°. parallel). Maps are prepared using Gaus-Kriuger projection in 3° zones in the same coordinate system as maps in scale 1:25000.
Maps in scale 1:100000 were printed in 4 colors.
In collection we have 44 published maps and 4 not published (in preparing stadium) maps.
